The Web Poetry Corner - T. J. Daniels - ''NOWHERE TO HIDE''
''NOWHERE TO HIDE''
by
T. J. Daniels
Sometimes
when I look in the mirror...
I see a stranger
looking back at me.
I stare intently
trying hard to see
the person
that I used to be.
Sometimes
I see her
by my side.
And sometimes
I see
that she's trying to hide.
Sometimes I try to hide
even from myself.
But when she's standing
there
there's no place left.
NEXT?
Why don't you look at
I am not nostalgic person.
