The Web Poetry Corner - Sunnyone - You Don%C3%AF%C2%BF%C2%BDt Know Me

You Don%C3%AF%C2%BF%C2%BDt Know Me

by

Sunnyone

You don’t know me_I’m a fan_
I take your thoughts inside my head,
and devour them like sweet pieces of ambrosia_
Savoring each meaning,
until I’ve drained their juices dry_
Sometimes your words are so intimate_
I feel as if they are meant for only me_
But, how could that be?
You don’t know me_

No, you don’t know me_
but we share our thoughts, our emotions,
our ups and downs_
Painting on a shared canvas,
we are splashing with words of many colors_
Side by side, we share this love, this art_
We touch each other’s souls and hearts,
but how could that be?
You don’t know me_

You don’t know me_yet_
not by name, or sight, or touch_
But you do know you_deep down,
where no one can see,
where you hide the real you_
You know the laughter that bubbles up,
at the wrong moments_
And the tears that are kept behind your eyes_
You know your own heart,
and write of pain, sorrow,
love and life_
You don’t know me_or_Do you?
