The One of Us

Man is disconnected from birth.
The very act of birth is one of disconnecting,
from a familiar warm place,
into a cold world of confusion among other beings
who are similarly disconnected.
That’s the one feature we all have in common...
Uncertainty.
Not one of us have a clue as to life’s journey.
Yet man spends his time and money trying to connect,
to be a part of,
and categorize everything around him.

Why not just accept it?
