Oceans Wide and Mountains Tall

by

Sunnyone

Please don’t be long_
I don’t know if I can stand the wait_
Just thinking of the love that we could make,
Brings a lonely teardrop to my eye_

I’m holding on_
All I have are letters on the screen_
Sometimes I wonder if it’s all a dream_
But this is all I have and so I try_

I try to keep my sanity,
and lock my heart inside of me,,,
But you found me and broke down every wall...
And I will never understand,
how you reached out and took my hand...
Across the oceans wide, and mountains tall...

So here I wait...
I know there’s got to be a reason why...
We met, I fell, now I can’t say goodbye...
And neither one of us are free to leave...

We have our lives...
In seperate worlds apart we spend our days...
We’re so connected, going seperate ways...
All we can do is write, and then believe...

I’d sell my soul to be with you...
There’s nothing that I wouldn’t do...
My heart cries out to answer when you call...
And if you call me, I will try,
to spread my wings...to you I’ll fly...
Across the oceans wide, and mountains tall...
