Never Satisfied!
by
Sunnyone
Snowflakes twirling down from murky sky_
Cold pierces the air, and frosty breath is rising high_
Winter seems forever long_
Each year the winds are twice as strong_
I think I have a warmer place in mind_
A place where Mother Nature treats you kind_
Looking out the window seems in vain_
Life is in a frozen state, and that is just a shame_
Close my eyes, I’m on a beach_
Someplace where the snow can’t reach_
Lounging in the tropics of my mind_
A place where Mother Nature treats you kind_
Southern breezes gently blow my hair_
Each day looks the same, with sunny skies and sultry air_
How could I anticipate,
boredom that would be my fate?
Watching seasons change is life’s design_
I think I have a cooler place in mind_
A place where Mother Nature spends her time!
