The Web Poetry Corner - Sunnyone - Magic Crystal Kisses

Magic Crystal Kisses

by

Sunnyone

Candy cotton dreams are hanging high,
in satin skies...
Head upon a pillow,
gently closes weary eyes...
Day was spent in work,
but now the night is made for wishes...
Dreaming of the one,
who gives his
magic crystal kisses...

Riding up into her dreams,
upon a fiery steed...
Trembling as he takes her hand,
she tries to hide her need...
Somewhere, knowing soon she’ll wake,
to laundry, kids,
and dishes...
She reaches up to steal one of his
magic crystal kisses...

Off into the moonlight,
flying fast to evermore...
Sturdy steed transports them,
to a peaceful, quiet shore...
Perfect place,
a perfect sky,
a dream where nothing misses...
Especially not her Prince, who gives her
magic crystal kisses...

Gentle hands now reaching, touching...
Fire warms her cheeks...
Looks that pass between say all,
there is no need to speak...
Wrapped inside his cloak of love,
her Prince fulfills her wishes...
It all begins with gentle lips
and
magic crystal kisses...

But all too soon the morrow dawns,
with ringing of the phone...
She turns to touch her Prince,
and sees that she is all alone...
And there upon the nightstand,
something made her heart suspicious...
A stone...shaped like...
Well, yes...you guessed...
his magic crystal kisses!
