Leap of Faith

A point in life is reached when deep within
your heart you know...
That every road you’ve traveled led to this...
That nothing you have done was overlooked,
or done by chance...
And never were your actions hit or miss...

Especially in the matters where your heart
begins to love...
the seeds are deeply sown within your soul...
And just a word that’s written,
or a song that’s meant for two...
Will prove that you no longer have control...

This point is reached outside the bounds
of time, and makes it’s move...
With lightning speed it shows which path to take...
No longer are you able to retreat,
and leave behind...
And neither can you love for love’s own sake...

You’re faced with new reality,
that stops you in your tracks...
It’s "Now or Never" sinks into your bones...
You can’t escape, because the heart,
that beats within your breast,
is telling you that now you aren’t alone...

Acceptance marks the start of that,
which takes your breath away...
The need is felt to join two lives as one...
No matter what the obstacles, that need provides a path...
For two to walk,
into the rising sun...

The first step is the hardest one,
it starts as simple choice...
Your soul has picked the one to be it’s mate...
No turning back, your heart has flown,
across Love’s great divide...
Your time has come...
So, close those eyes,
and take that Leap of Faith!
