Chasin%C3%AF%C2%BF%C2%BD Demons

by

Sunnyone

Everybody picks a road to travel on through time_
And detours seem to lurk at every turn_
Mistakes are made and lessons taught,
for all of humankind_
That’s the only way we seem to learn_

But some of us aren’t satisfied with our share of the pain_
Trouble seems to be our only cure_
When things go right, we turn and run,
it seems a bit insane_
that hurt’s the only thing of which we’re sure_

We’ve all done, to some degree, the things I’m writing of_
None of us are pure as driven snow_
In matters of the heart and those that all point back to love_
Here’s something to be learned,
that you should know_

Don’t go chasin’ demons down the dark side of the street!
Life is way too short to borrow trouble_
But, if you do, don’t be surprised when on some night you meet
a demon waiting there_
To burst your bubble!!
