The Web Poetry Corner - Stephan Hovell - Just Ask
Just Ask
by
Stephan Hovell
One day at a time, suits me fine,
who`s to say, what`s down the line?
Do you want,to know what`s next?
a question really,quite complexed,
visit the gypsy, all wise and knowing,
her crystal ball,is hot and glowing,
the way her arms,swirl above,
repeating verse,of hate and love,
no one said, you have to ask,
and so your future,we unmask,
when you find out,do not tell me,
for I did not,ask to see,
this was your,unruley urge,
as she slowly,chants your dirge,
what if it`s wealth, and fame she sings?
scouring out,all manner of things,
as I said,I`ll wait and see,
one day at a time, still suits me.
NEXT?
Why don't you look at
