Vague Warning
by
Stephan Hovell
Sleeping is merely one long blink, time to clearly see what you think. In our dreams there`s no one to pardon, run around naked because you own the garden. Not all dreams run a good course,we`ve all seen a dark she horse. When recalled it`s hard to bear, seemingly endless bad nightmare. Are we aware that we can fly, asleep in bed we see how high. There`s usually no arguing, not even a tiff, A peaceful ocean and your set adrift. Children also will have their dreams, the same awake or so it seems, They live in a world without a care, yet as adults they wouldn`t dare. They say you sleep a third of your life, that`s not true just ask my wife, !
she wakes me early every morning, trusty tent pole for the awning. Another day now is dawning, the night befores dream is a subliminal warning.
