Revelations

There was a man who lived his life, based on the theories of adage, common sense tips picked up over time, were all he needed as baggage. His mind had no room for nonsense,so he was not pricked by his conscience. He`ld negotiate with ergency, best that he can,he said, never send a boy,if you think it needs a man. A mountain of morals,in his general views,he said, don`t say what you oughta,it felt like he was reading, the blood in my vains, and we all know it`s thicker than water. All his words, contain little hidden tips, like necessity`s,the mother of invention, shhhh!,patent pending still, lose lips do sink ships. He and I used to go fishing,we usually caught a few,a task that breeds inner patience, sharpe hooks all baited of virtue. The greatest thing he said to me,now that I recall, better to have love and lost, than not to have, ever at all.
