How assured of knowledge,can you really be?
am I really writeing this ? will somebody see?
maybe I am dreaming,so none of this is true,
what do you think,as you read ? maybe you sleep too?
give my self a pinch,to check if I`m awake,
perhaps I dream of pain,so it could be,a mistake,
I just received a shock,I`m sure I felt some fear,
while you sleep of course,you`re consciously not here,
I feel as though,I know I`m here,acutely self aware,
is that me in the mirror ? enough that I could swear,
do you bear a witness,to your own existance ?
if so,how so ? tell me now,give a for instance,
you can only believe,that you are truely here,
think about that slowly,see if it comes clear,
this line of perception,can easily be taught,
to truely dismiss reality,where are you found caught?
have you never wondered,what can and can not be?
you can tell that I have,but where does that leave me?.
