The Web Poetry Corner - Stephan Hovell - Deck The Halls

Deck The Halls

by

Stephan Hovell

This is such a splendid place,
for mighty heros souls to grace,
a silent banquet held each night,
in their honour and sing we might,
any may visit the wonderous hall,
dwell all legends once they fall,
suit of armour and damaged shield,
memorabilia from the battle field,
here forever the memories preserved,
each their place as they deserved,
fought and died with uncommon velour,
earned their keep in Old Valhalla.
