All In The Family

I want to join a band of gypsies, and live in a caravan,
travelling side to side, and up and down the land,
pull in here for the night,up and gone at dawn,
no fixed abode in sight, tyre marks on your lawn,
where will we wake tomorrow,by what pillar or post,
follow an invisible circus, from here to coast to coast,
the kids are schooled by correspondence, seems to work ok,
what`s the point if they`ll be gypsies, come the end of day,
we don`t have the worry,of ever increasing rent,
only the odd repair bill,of a fender we might dent,
live on home made bread, and veges we might pilfer,
we`re like a breed apart,a lifestyle some would kill`fa,
yes we have a fortune teller,tie-dye things she`ll wear,
come and give her $20,and she`ll disclose some fear,
anything we get,it`s share and share alike,
and when we`re low on candles,we even share our light.
