A Great Thing
by
Stephan Hovell
Loyalty is bought and sold, pay me enough I`ll do as I`m told, treachery is a way of life,be ever weary of a back-stab knife. A loyal friend is hard to find, look high look low still come up blind,a friend in need so they say,but don`t tell one to go away. The dog I have has taught me that, allways near me for a pat,it wouldn`t matter what I did, she`ld be there I do not kid. Being loyal as a whole, lifts your heart and fills your soul,it can redeem a once lost trust,so being loyal is a thing you must.
