Broken Angel

The Years Of abuse and neglect,
shows on her face.
Leaving her with a torn heart,
and memories she can't erase.

The beatings and hurtings,
has left their marks,
and she's no longer looking,
forward to what the future embarks.

She's a broken angel,
caught in the middle of a storm.
Yeah, she's a broken angel,
wishing she was never born.
A broken angel,
with a heart tattered and torn.

She closes out the real world,
letting her fantasy world grow strong.
Nobody knows the pain she feels,
nor that somethings terribly wrong.

In her fantasy world,
she knows no pain or hate.
In her real world though,
it only spells out her fate.

She's A broken angel,
caught in the middle of a storm.
Yeah, she's a broken angel,
wishing she was never born.
A broken angel,
with a heart tattered and torn.

She's a broken angel........
