Times goes by so fast
We often do not realize it until it passes us by
Until we look in the mirror and see what we’ve become
As we get older we realize many things
We begin to appreciate all we have
And look sadly upon all we’ve lost
Time does not take from us
It only gives
It gives us time to learn
To understand
To accept everything that goes on in our lives
But in the end it leaves us with only our memories
Sometimes only our tears are there to comfort us
To give us solace for all we had to endure
For all that we know we can not change
