To Kill You
by
Sherene Delgado
The joy I would have to kill you
To see your blood running from your body
To see your face as the life drains from you
To watch as your eyes that was once shining black
Now nothing but a reflection of my own image
I wouldn't see your ugly sneer mocking me
Or your laughing face after you've just made fun of me
I could then finally live in peace for once
If I kill you
But I can't
I won't
Because I know that is what you want
That is what you crave out of me
My hate
My anger for you is so great that I can't think
I give you too much power over me
That power is what you want from me
By killing you I know in the end you would have won
In death you would still have control of me
I know this
So I will move on
Prove to you that I'm the stronger one
Because I posses an emotion even stronger then my hate for you
It is my love for myself
That alone will get me through this
Because I'm the one who matters
Not you
Your mind games are near it's end
And in the end
I win
