It’s hard for me to know the truth
That the love I thought we had was not real
That light that burned so brightly in your eyes was not there because you loved me
But because I was there
I was a convenience for you
All the dreams and hopes I had for us have now been torn away from me
By you
I think back to all the times you said you loved me
That I was the only one for you
It hurts knowing the one I loved more then myself
Can lie so easily to me
My illusion of our love is just that
An illusion
