The Web Poetry Corner - Sherene Delgado - Difference

Difference

by

Sherene Delgado

There is no difference between you and I
Our skin may be different
Or maybe our size.
But my blood runs red
And we cry the same tears
We walk around each other
Because we have different fears.
To be liked.
To be loved.
We do not understand that we are all different.
But we all want to be loved just the same.
