It is all I have for you
Memories from the past plague me
Memories of you is all I can think of
Like a vague dream that I know is real
The past eats away at me till I want to scream for it to stop
I'm changed because of it
My future is forever different from what it could have been
What it should have been I'll never know
Because of you
Now I'm what you've made me
A person who will never know true love,
A person who will never know how to trust again
A person who will never be complete
Always in the back of my mind I will know I am missing something
Something I can never have
Because of you.
