The Web Poetry Corner - Serpentinehb - Untitled #83

Untitled #83

by

Serpentinehb

Clawing at my throat - fingernails scratch flesh.
Oppressive weight clouds my head with_
I feel the sickness coming, draping itself upon me, approaching slow and steady.
Creeping up through the marrow of my bones,
Invading hordes crash upon my shores.
Pressure on my temple - discord in my speech.
