The Web Poetry Corner - Serpentinehb - Untitled #29

Untitled #29

by

Serpentinehb

You want me to say something profound?
Well here it is-
My life is like a portrait,
A representation of reality
Not quite a lie,
And not quite me.
From two dimensions
It stares at you,
But it never really looks.
It hangs on the wall and occasionally you recognise
The beauty within it.

NEXT?
Why don't you look at COLD SHOULDER
