The Web Poetry Corner - Sekhem Psikor Strecker - You Were Never Meant To Know

You Were Never Meant To Know

by

Sekhem Psikor Strecker

All I can say is: How dare you!
Who do you think you are, you infected soul?
I am tired
I am weary
Go away and leave me alone - like you did before this

There is nothing left of my conscience
It's harder to live with my faults than you
I am different
I am alone
You were never meant to know

About me!
About how I felt
And how I was living under this unconditional experience
You are wrong!
You are a bastard
And I knew that before; you just had to prove it to me...

All I can do is: Sleep restlessly
What is wrong with you - I thought you were fine
I am angry
I am exhausted
I no longer want to be reminded of you

All I can think is: Why is it?
Why have I been punished like this...
...I am infected
I am disillusioned -
You were never meant to know

About me!
About how I felt
And how I was living under this unconditional experience
You are wrong!
You are a bastard
And I knew that before; you just had to prove it to me...

I am not a bundle of sticks!
So you can STICK them where there's no light
I am not afraid of you anymore
HAHA! I'm laughing, coz I realise that
YOU'RE afraid of me
You're AFRAID of me!
You're afraid of ME!
And all -

About me!
About how I felt
And how I was living under this unconditional experience
You are wrong!
You are a bastard
And I knew that before; you just had to prove it to me...

~Yes, S.McShannon - I am OVER YOU! YES!
