The Web Poetry Corner - Sean Cafferky - From Down The Trail

From Down The Trail

by

Sean Cafferky

Fair lady, fair lady
ensnared in the dazing glare
of these peon-neon lights
of the hoi polloi mind and
all its alley frivolity
you ought not ignore the winsome
could it not be easier?
wouldst thou not take my hand?
