The Web Poetry Corner - Satish Kakri - Mind you, Medical Science!

Mind you, Medical Science!

by

Satish Kakri

Big progress medical science has made, no doubt
Long lasting hard studies of diseases, up the spout.
But why did the glow on human faces fade?
With that natural charm; what havoc has been played?

Technology enables, now, deeper scan
Into the inside of the human body and bran
Giving information to help making conclusive reports
Then why is it,
That mind meanders like an unmanned boat,
Which knows not where to go, but is just afloat?

Where is the mind’s peace?
Where are those innocent pleasures?
Why should human mind has to be fleeced
Such heavy price! in spite of the progressive measures?

Life is now longer, and more secure.
Human mind has become greedy; is no longer pure.
