The Web Poetry Corner - Sasha de Moel - I Wish I Were Free

I Wish I Were Free

by

Sasha de Moel

I'm scared of life, I'm scared of death
But most of all I'm scared of love
You told me you loved me, then walked
out on me
Just as I was getting better
You decided to come back
Our love was strong
Now it's just a memory
It's time to say good-bye
Because I Wish I Were Free.
