The pencil

Ah!...the lonely pencil
What else can be said
It's long and thin and pointed
And also full of lead
The only little function
That it does perform
Is write a lot of words
That's not above the norm
It sometimes draws a picture
And if you are in doubt
Don't like what you've scribbled
Lets you rub the whole thing out
