It's been a long time since I've seen you
How the years pass quickly by
Can't remember how I held you
Not too sure if I should try
If I did I'd be reminded
Of the hurt you put me through
Cannot stand to be reminded
Of the things we used to do
Still I'm glad that we can meet now
All past heartaches left behind
Going forward...learning somehow
A new friendship we may find
