She journeyed through her inner thoughts
Reflecting silently
And made conscious decisions
To set her torment free
Tomorrow she would brave the world
Baring her very soul
Intent to make the final choice
This time she'd take control
No-one else would pull the strings
Manipulate her mind
No-one else would set the rules
Making like unkind
She felt the power within her
As the dawn began to break
And slowly went to face the world
Her biggest step to take
