Way off in the distance, far beyong the skies
Your peaceful journey has begun...though sadly from my eyes
But through the coming years,when I have thoughts to spare
I'll save for you, a tender one...that only we may share
I'll think of all the fun we had, those tours upon the Rhine
When both of us got slowly pissed on all that Liebfrau wine
Those endless blessed coach trips all dressed up in our frocks
Pretending to be sprite young things..instead of two old crocks
I'll miss the silly laughter, that smile upon your face
But know in spite of everything...you're in a safer place
