Frightened child

She ran and hid this frightened child, when anyone came near.
Retreating to her hiding place, when overcome with fear
She couldn't understand the tortured games beyond her mind
Her life was being overrun by those who were unkind
How dare they take away her soul, destroy her tiny shell
So made a promise to herself...she'd see them all in hell
