My Beautiful Angel

Lying there, with me, asleep,
The world is your friend right now,
The days have gone when we would weep,
In love we never wonder how,

This night alone makes us unique,
Angelic lovers; the pair of us,
Entwined as one, a single physique,
We feel one heartbeat, loud and thus-

-We sleep until we recover,

The morning brings a pleasant dawn,
The birds are at their play,
As I watch you stretch and yawn,
I find the words I want to say:

I am your own eternal lover,
Shall be right by your side,
My love will form a lover's den,
Where in love we both may hide,
The days are pleased to greet us,
The stars at night will meet us,
And love is here to stay.
