The Web Poetry Corner - Richard James Van Der Draaij - Ecstasy

Ecstasy

by

Richard James Van Der Draaij

Lovely lively fragrancies,
Summer's outburst end,
My senses; love's own agencies,
My heart and mind may blend,
Into a sun/moon creature,
Who continues with a smile,
I praise this morning's feature,
Which seems to, does beguile,
A million thoughts race through my mind,
I marvel at the globe,
I look, and seek, and find,
Still sitting in my robe,
The dawn usurps a faded moon,
The first sounds of the day,
I know that very, very soon,
I'll find the words with which to say,
How much I love this sphere and you,
Intend to always remain true,
Give me caresses, kisses kind,
It's you I'll always need to find.
