Delight
by
Richard James Van Der Draaij
Her words, with her smile wishing me well,
A knowing that I found a life again,
Walking with her in that smooth summer rain,
The girl's eyes, dark, casting a spell.
The moon as we gaze up and see,
A future bright as silver stars,
The roundabout with it's swirling cars,
Just this old world and you and me.
