The hill dominates the island
That conforms to star.
The workers repair urban hallways, squares...
Tales of Silent City... I hear, concentrated, placid.

Valetta's women of fashion quaky buttocks,
Bus drivers' cheerful cackles. Short of EU parliament election,
Pat Cox, Malta leader jump out of palatial gateway -

Camcorder, stop! This cassette is over.
Malta has political meaning
As a miniature of Europe.
I'm not baffled. I dive into watery ink on the roof,
By the swimming pool I dominate the bay
Like laughing, quaky Pat Cox who conforms to stars.
