I'm not typical Pole. I live on the net.
Escaping from graphomaniacs' terror, imitators' pride,
Synthetic stars, clerks' dialect, bombasting advertising,
I reckon on large profit. I read between the lines;
These blank, horizontal spaces say to me -
I'm all eyes.

"Who said: poetry is dead?"

"Today's chairmen who used to scratch their youthful masterpieces in copy-books,
But they ran short of endurance" - I reply.

"Who said: poetry is bad?"

"Pen-club people who want to star in budgetary canteens and sanatoriums
As long as possible" - I suppose.

"Who said: poetry is sad?"

Don't ask me, blank verse. I'm not an expert in this field.
I'm not Central Pole, I,m not outer space,
I don't know who said... I live on the net.
Escaping from graphomaniacs' terror, imitators' pride,
Synthetic stars, clerks' dialect, bombasting advertising,
I reckon on large profit.
