The Web Poetry Corner - Plo - I Don't Like Sugar

I Don't Like Sugar

by

Plo

Living among the beets is hard for farmers.
The plants require human care.
The beet is kind of creature which doesn't like the starlight.
Only the sun can satisfy its necessaries of life.
The beet - stocky and perky figure -
ends its show when people decide
to pull the plant out the ground.
Next the beet becomes a traveller,
after that - sweet.

A lot of farmers is sweet on the white beets,
some of them choose the red ones.
The farmers are satisfied if there are no beetles.
These creatures need the sunlight too.
But living among the beets is hard for them.
The farmers are killers.
They are interesting in profit.

Let's profit from this story.
The creatures living nearly the soil require the sunshine.
The agriculturists need advantages.
This story includes a lot of sugar.
But it is not 'The Beatles'' song.
Tired workers sing 'A Hard Day's Night' at the starlight.
