The Web Poetry Corner - Plo - Echo in the Throat

Echo in the Throat

by

Plo

Their songs are echoes of "Blur" or "Rage Against the Machine",
Don't attest to independence of mind.
Boorish measure,
Heavy philosophy of life,
Duplicator's style. "Wow" -
Unwrought audience solidaryly smack.

They keep the windows closed,
Plagiarism grows in a glasshouse,
Come on, authors of the echoes,
Verify your sound,
It cannot return... Eaten.

Plagiary fattens echoeaters,
It is necessary to take authors' bonuses off -
Gloomy throats blur their rage against the machine.

Come on, Mr. Lawyer,
Throw the stopper in.
