Together Waken To Our Dreams
by
Philip Claude Andermann
The bird on a broken twig
keeps singing unafraid,
for she has wings.
But keep singing
even should should you appear
to be a dried leaf with broken wings,
for your wings shall heal.
Even if you shall fly flaming
off on the wings of the wind
keep your dreams,
for dreaming even in passing
your wings shall heal,
your dreams passed on
to others.
For we all are one.
We are
each other's wings.
