The Bridge of Literature
Philip Claude Andermann
Beautiful words come from a spirit
that fights for humanity and life's challenges.
Literature is the product of
trying to express in words
the emotion of everyday life.
All literature, ancient and modern,
is a bridge conecting
one human being to another,
one spirit to another
That quality of our lives is determined
by how many of those bridges we can cross,
Those bridges are already there,
if we but see them.
We are already so interconnected
in this web of life.
Relationships and writing are organic.
It's like we are trying to cultivate
the whole garden of our relationships
to blossom in the most symbiotic way
based on true respect and faith in the other
regardless of obstacles.
Words should provide nourishment,
a rain of cleansing tears of joy and victory,
and sunshine of for indestructible happiness.
We are so interconnected
that any walls obstructing us
or separating us as a family of humanity
and exist only in the mind or heart.
Even if oceans seem to separate us,
they are actually paths connecting us
in the garden.
We can cultivate each other
depending on our heart,
and to open this power,
words have no limit.
