Relative and Absolute
by
Philip Claude Andermann
Truth seems relative.
That's why to approach truth,
we have to observe it from multiple viewpoints.
That's why we have two eyes,
why we need mutually supportive dialogue...
Kant's theory was that Value can be found
in Beauty, Good, and Truth.
Makiguchi said that Truth only had meaning
if we used it to create Gain for Life.
So, he replaced 'Beauty, Good and Truth'
with 'Beauty, Good and Gain.'
All three can be enhanced by our inner Human Revolution.
All three,
not just Beauty,
are within the I of the Beholder,
who however can use them
to approach Absolute Happiness...
that comes with earning that mutual support.
