Yes, perhaps we can learn something instructive from what anyone says;
but I believe that by resisting the urge here to slander ourselves
we change our karma,
wherein whatever s/he said becomes constructive,
and that is the person's greatest gift to us.
Sometimes we might even thank that person for lightening our karma.
