Seeking That In Sight...
by
Philip Claude Andermann
Teenage Laura
Always sat front row and center
So most of the time I could not see it_
Blind, she would never see her smile
Which would blur my vision with tears.
Why then did she share her smile with all always,
When she saw no-one and never saw its infinite beauty?
Because of her inner beauty which she must have seen.
She asked courageous questions no-one else had seen.
Miss Universe,
She was a model
Of the universe
Infinitely beyond the description of any calculus.
She never knew I’d later miss her
But anyway she’d transformed my universe
Because I knew her unquestioned courage, her in-sight.
