Victory Together!
by
Philip Claude Andermann
1777:
A young man rides on a horse
across all the mountains
and forests
to encourage a sick friend.
My friend, let's strive for the sake of lofty ideals.
That's what makes life worthy living...
to the fullest in the way most true to ourselves.
My friend, I will cross every mountain to reach you...
I step on the mountain of every victory.
Step on my shoulders advancing through your forest.
Step advancing upon my mountains.
See that mountain rising lit with jewels of sweat
rising from the pressures of the bottom of the Earth
within the cosmos of the heart.
It is us together!
My friend,
let us scale the mountain ahead of sickness
in victory
to see and touch vast vistas of living eternity.
My friend,
there is a Word which is a vast prayer.
In dialogue with you,
we will be able to reach every heart, more than Goethe,
in the World.
