The Curing Song
Philip Claude Andermann
She loved him and lost him [to others] so much it broke her heart.
Love became a knife cutting her into doll parts.
She believed he loves seeing that.
Although she thus become a fake doll
the pain was so real,
the love of the fake doll felt so real.
It remained so strong she remained weak as a cutup doll.
Still she clungs to this hopeless fake helpless love
because it felt the only real thing.
But of it she can now create a beautiful song.
It will take over the world.
For it was cured by self-love.
