Taste of Sweat, of Tears of Joy
by
Philip Claude Andermann
Searing sun
transmuted to a gem on cooling oasis water,
a victory tortuously won in life's desert.
This gem will become a mirage, and also the oasis,
and we will be lost,
if we cannot go back into the desert
to use that gem - to encourage another lost in the
(burying) sand
to find that gem which is buried WITHIN,
with which to transform the WHOLE desert.
