The Flower from Heaven

Last night
a white bridal veil
covered heaven and earth:
the full moon's face
glowed so tenderly behind the mist.
In bed
I dreamt
of that "wedding":
a ceremony in the air...
I know
who caught the bouquet
of flowers "she" threw,
today still trailing
SO MANY snow-petals!
For what else
could explain
the inspirational radiance
of that girl's smile
amid a persistent blizzard?
