In the End
by
Philip Claude Andermann
Treat the (parent) Earth well.
It was not given to you by your parents.
It was loaned to your by your children:
that we may repay our children
(that we gave life)
the meaning they give to our life -
ad infinitum through the future?
human only if expressing this appreciation.
surviving only if we express this appreciation.
only appreciation survives in the end.
