Song For Eagles

Sometimes words just get in the way of the light,
the flight, of visionaries.
Words are tools, but fools
we may use them to build cages for our thoughts.
Words must be instruments
for the music
found only
in our hearts;
but should be used harmoniously,
with saving rests
to breathe exalted air,
as part of a vaster liberating symphony
of evolution
expressing our paired wings of vision..
